Executive Director Kiran Ahuja, Assistant to the President Chris Liu to Outline The Initiative's Next Steps to Deliver Needed Services to Communities

WASHINGTON -- (U.S. ASIAN WIRE) -- Kiran Ahuja, executive director of the White House Initiative on Asian American and Pacific Islanders, and Assistant to the President Chris Lu will hold a conference call with reporters on Tuesday to announce the initiative's next steps to improve the lives of Asian American and Pacific Islanders. Ahuja will also discuss her group's work since President Obama reestablished the White House Initiative last October.

As the nation prepares to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May, the White House Initiative will hold major events and activities across the country to highlight the government's efforts to address critical issues faced by Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.
